Adventure in Santorini Pt3

After a few days of R&R we started to explore the island a little bit. The place is not all that big and it seemed the best way to get around was via an ATV. I would not recommend a car for getting about (well not a big one anyway) and this was a fun way to explore. 

So the saga continues.....

What a whirlwind the past week has been for the Groves house. Great food, great friends and visits from loved ones have made it a great week. Here's the rundown....

 Tuesday was 'Fishy Tuesday' and we went over to our friends Christine's place where we drank some wine and she cooked some great tasting fish.

Crunchy topped fish with new potatoes and root vegetables all with a butter source.... Mmmm

This is a first for me, turns out you can now buy a Tie & Beer box set for Xmas.

In the 'bargain of the year' Fee managed to pick up a Wegner rocking chair for a great price!

Miffy seems to like it.

My Dad and sister came over for a swift visit which was so nice..... he still had to watch the football tho.

We went out for a nice dinner at 'The Lodge' and had some good food... the desert was also rocking!

The cocktails in the bar after were rather strong and we did not last too long.. Haha

Fee picked up some great cupcakes from the little bakery in Vegle.

Amazing!

 Today marked the first 'open fire' of the winter..... Cosy.

Summer House Vacation.... Pt4

As we were up North we went to one of Europe's biggest Aquariums. It was rebuilt after a massive fire some years ago and seemed like it was well worth a visit. TO THE CAR!

I'm sure fee was driving at this point!

The main viewing tank was pretty amazing.

This, ladies and gentlemen is called a 'Sun fish', or as we say in Danish 'Klump fisk' I call it 'natures cruelest mistake'

It's a big, odd looking fish. Me and Fee were fascinated by the 'fish that should not be'
