The lesser spotted Nik....

When I go on work trips with the LEGO gang I tend to act as photographer along with a few others. However unlike most people I get myself into odd places to get shots and I don't normally end up in other peoples photos....... so the joke is that I have become like big foot (was Nik even there? is that him in the background?) so now people try and take photos of me just to prove I was there.... some have more success than others.

There's me, in the far far far far right taking pictures. I'm in shot but you could never PROVE it was me in a court of law.

On a bollard, hood up, snapping away..... they haven't even noticed me, it's like i'm a Ninja or something!

They almost got me in this one, managed to turn my back before they captured my soul with their picture box.

This is totally on of those fake photoshop jobs, the shadows are all wrong and that's not even my face.

Tarifa pt1

Hello people of the internet! How have you been? I'm sure you have missed me as much as i've missed you. We are back from our trip too Tarifa and we had a great time, we had great food, some sun and got to travel around a fair bit.

So are you ready for some photo spam? because there are lots, so here we go!

This was the first shop we saw when we arrived at the airport.... sadly it did not sell the 'goods' we assumed it would.

This was the entrance to our little apartment, the WHOLE place was covered in shells and tiles, turned out a local artist also lived at the apartments and did it all himself.

Once we got sorted we went out for a walk with Winnie (our friend who we went to visit) and got to know the town. Not sure what Winnie is demonstrating here.... walking maybe?

A part of the Church can be spotted from Winnie's roof top.

Tarifa was not a big town but it had lots of cute and small winding roads, took a day or two to find our way around without getting lost but we got there in the end.

Tarifa is the most Southern point in Europe, so you see Africa on a clear day.... and there it is!

Some cool abandoned houses by the shore line.

...

The local Church in town was very beautiful.

Fee captured a nice shot of us while we were out and about.

We had grand plans of hitting the bars and clubs that are dotted around the town (its a hot spot for wind surfers) but after a 3 hour flight, a drive down the coast, walking around town and eating good feed we were DONE. My eyes were rolling around in my head so we had to call it a night but our first day was great. :)

Stay tuned for more soon!

Out and about in Denmark.

Went on a little trip with the LEGO design team last week. We do that once a year so we can all get out of the office and re-charge our creative brains.... heres some pics.

My view from the bus.

Anybody fancy a dip?!

It was a super clear and sunny day, great for photos.

Adrian looking a little lost.

Luis does not like photos!

...

Bjarke and Sven... they are a lot more fun than they look.... honest.

The J-ma giving me a smile.

Arrivederci Italy.

Figured I should post the last of the Italy pics before I forget all about it. They are a little random in the 'time line' of the trip but nice pics none the less. Enjoy.

It was Sunflower season when we were there, we had to stop to take a few pics. It was Sunflowers as far as the eye could see.

"Ciao! I'm a flower"

You cant go to Italy and not take a few pics of the Fiat 500.

We met a big fat Italian cat who was on the hunt for more food.... we didn't have any food so he left rather quickly.

We were out and about one day and when we got back to the car we noticed a little something on the car window...

...then we realised it was NOT so little. Ekkk!

It's so cute!

This was the last bottle of wine we had while in Italy, it was good. :)

Ciao Italy! Pt Tre

8th August, thats our wedding anniversery and the whole reason we went on this nice little trip to Italy. Unfortunately the 8th was a Sunday and we found out nothing would be open, so we decided to go and have a nice picnic in the Tuscan country side.

We figured it would be easy to find a nice spot but it was a lot harder than we imagened. All the land is of course farm land or vineyards.... so that would be tresspassing. However as we were driving around Fee spotted a 'For sale' sign at an old farm house, so we parked up, grab our blanket and went for a picnic.

There it is, the drive way was very long... it took us about 10min to walk to the house.

I would say this is a cute old well, but after watching *'The Ring' we all know wells are not cute.

It was a very big farm house and you could see lots of work had been done to it over the years. I don't know how long it had been standing empty for.

A very rare pic of me in the sun.... I had factor 50 sunblock on (its made for goths) so don't worry I didn't get a tan.

Our little picnic, we had some nice bread, cheese, ham, olives and a small bottle of wine. Plus, it was all local...Yum!

Theses Mrs Groves looking pretty as always..... I had obviously told one of my very funny jokes at this point.

It wasn't fancy but we had a nice time.

We kindly asked a passing Grasshopper to take a nice pic of us.

After our yummy lunch we lazed around and enjoyed the peace and quite. Once our food had settled we went exploring to see what we could find.

Another rare picture of me..... this time smiling..... well kind of.

Fee skipping off into the sunset.

Seems local farmers still use the farm house but just for storage.

Inside was rather creepy so we stayed out.

We had a super cool day on our little adventure and our picnic really filled us up. So much so that this was our dinner:
