Super Mega Dupa Update....

Ok, so the posts have been piling up and it's time to get up to date with the bloggings around here.

Last week me and a buddy went to see Machine head over in Copenhagen, it was a great line up with Bring Me Horizon and Devil Driver as support. Sadly the crowed was a little thin and subdued for these bands which was a real shame as the rock. However Machine Head DESTROYED the venue and my hearing!! So it was a great night all in all.

Tickets just seem to be getting bigger and bigger these days.

This was a map showing the route from our hotel to the venue. We figured it was a 15min walk..... after 40min of walking we got a train. I'll never trust a map again.

I'm don't really take photos at show as I am fed up seeing a sea of iPhones but I had to capture this.
Long story short 'Casper' was invited up on stage to flash is man boobs then stage dive..... he was a big guy and it did not end well for him.  :/

Last Sunday was very 'nice' and by that I mean it was all very grown up and polite as we went to Church. We were there for little Naya's christening and it was a fun little day out.

Proud Daddy Will with his fast growing bundle of joy.
She was very well behaved on the day.

Apparently she is a thumb sucker.... still cute.

It gave me and Fee an excuse to 'scrub up' and look nice.

Ok now comes all the random bits that are fun to know but don't really justify a full post of their own. Sorry random photos, its sad but true.....

Movember is in full swing and me and the guys are hoping to raise lots of cash for charity. So get involved or give me lots of cash!

We had a fancy home cooked dinner the other night. Duck leg with mashed sweet potato, fried Scollop on pesto and Mushrooms with Spinach and cream..... YUM!

Fee has become the 'bringer of warmth' and got me an early Xmas gift in the form of a Canada Goose Jacket. Its getting cold her in DK so this is much needed.... TAK BABE!

Rocking in Denmark.....

It has been a rather rocking time in Denmark of late and the future is looking just as good. Bands are coming out of the woodwork and playing in Denmark. I hope the pace of good bands coming over keeps up as the live scene is one of the things I miss about London.

Went up to Copenhagen last month to see Enter Shikari with my buddy Adrian.
Great live band and a great show.

Just over a week ago I got to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers with Fee and some friends.
You cant help but like RHCP.

Going to be seeing Bring me the horizon in a couple of weeks in Copenhagen along with....

The mighty Devildriver who are amazing live, but they will also be shearing the stage with......

MACHINE HEAD! I am soooo looking forward to seeing them live again.

Found out last night Mastodon are playing in January at a small venue and I got my ticket today!

Even managed to get a ticket for Rammstein but thats much later next year.

iPhone randomness

This week as been super, super busy with work so there is not an amazing amount to report i'm afraid. We have new projects starting up so there is a lot to get up and running from the design side. There is however a few random photos on the phone, so enjoy these until something exiting happens.

The sky had an amazing colour this morning... this pic doesn't really do it justice.

Been jamming a little since Fee has been away.... it always turns into a bit of a fire hazard what with all the wires & cables.

Snapped this at the local recycling center, I always forget to bring my Flamingos for re-cycling.

The local shopping center was doing a 'History of Fashion'..... pretty good looking right?

Summer house vacation....

Hello people of the internet! How have you been? Good I hope.

Well we are back home now from our little break and normal blogging should resume.....and thank you all for the nice messages on our anniversary. :)

So where have we been I hear you ask?! Well thanks to our good friend Christine and her wonderful parents we have been up North chilling out in their wonderful summer house. There are plenty of pics to see, so expect some spamming over the next few posts.

This is where we called home for the week.

This was their 'little' summer house.... it was waaaay bigger than we excepted.

Fee dived directly in to the hammock for a little snooze.

Well, when in Rome as they say.

This was the view you get while relaxing in the hammock.

It was held up by this funky colured rope.

The beach was not far away from the house so we went exploring from time to time.

Just chilling....

You have to be carful as there are some pretty scary
animals roaming around the beach front.

You know you're Danish when......

A true Danish lunch if ever I saw one.

Chilling+Relaxing=Chilaxing

Things have been a little hectic for both of us over the past six months, and it only going to get more busy as the year goes on. So we have decided to make the effort to relax more.... if that makes any sense. As well as our little holiday coming up we took a little drive up to the VejleFjord hotel for some R&R....

A great place for swimming and chilling.
They have a big pool, an outdoor heated pool, a light pool, a sound pool, a hot pool and a FREEZING COLD POOL.

Just look at how relax my toes are!

Tuesday was Ashley's Birthday and she was having a few drinks down at the Beach Bar in Arhus. Me and Fee (mainly Fee) figured "Why not!" and we hit up the beach. Fee was local and I was able to hitch a ride with some friends up to Arhus. We were super lucky as the Sun came out and blessed us all with some much needed vitamin D.

Me, Cynnie, Christine's hand, Fee, and the Beach bar made from old shipping containers.

Denmark can be rather pretty when the sun comes up.

The whole gang, on a beach, in the sun, IN DENMARK!
It really can happen.

Happy New Year....EAT EAT!!

So here are a few pics from our first Chinese New Year party in DK. Not sure why we have not done it before but i'm sure we will do it again!

We started to prep stuff the night before and got started early the next day. Here's Fee demonstrating how to fold a Won-ton.

Our French friend FX came over a little early to help and
pick up some Chinese cooking tips.

This plate was FULL by the end....and so were two more plates with various dumplings. Mmmmmmmm.

Spring-Roll manufacturing in full swing.

Santi and his mom Patti enjoying some candy.
We needed Patti there as she is actually Chinese!

Little Ella is a little suspicious of me and always keeps an eye on me.

Amelie however is more than happy to hang out with me as long as I have fruit
and toys that light up.

There they are.....just look at them eating all MY food!

Fee and Adrian became the best of friends.

Thanks for the cold Santa...

Sorry for the lack of blogging of late, I have been a broken man for the past week and unable to blog properly. Heres the short version:

Got to London and stayed with my Dad for two days, he has Cats which I am ellergic too so by the time Fee's parents came to pick us up on Xmas day my chest and breathing was rather weak. I figured that would improve once we got to their place but sadly my in-laws don't like to use the heating in their own home. So by the time we left on the 27th I had a bad chest cold.

On returning home there was no time to rest as my super wife had arragned for us to go to a super cool summer house to have a super cool birthday/new years party in. :D

Some of the gang (just one really) whipping up a storm in the kitchen.

The vultures are circling!

Super cheeeeeeeeeesy lasagna.

Lucky we had a super long table to fit everybody on.

After stuffing our faces with cheese and salad people split up to either chill out, play games or simply eat lots of cold & flu medicine (that was me). Fee was heading up the 'game table' and she ended up being on the winning team, which is a good thing because she is a bad loser!

The little one has the highest I.Q.

Fee was looking a little sternly at poor Matthew, maybe he was not 'getting it' quickly enough.... god help him!

The next morning Fee had to pop out early to do the Booze run too Germany..... turns out she was picking up some of my family who had flown in from the UK! :D

Pop Groves.... he likes the size of the Beer cans in Denmark.

It is just a little bit bigger than the normal cans.

That night we played 'Mafia' with the gang.... never played it before but it was rather fun.

So the next morning Fee said she had to 'go to the supermarket' but I had figured out she was actually going to pick up my big Brother from the airport.... how cool is my wife?

Pop and big brother Spencer discussing the size of beer cans in Denmark.

Little sister, Sisters boy friend and big Brother.... with a big can.

The Summer house had become a party house for new years eve.

My epic ET cake that the was made for me!
Its a long story, but I was a big ET fan as a kid and I once had an ET cake that did not look like ET. So they figured now would be the time to correct that.

Quick and painless, I didn't want him to suffer.

He was tasty and tender, but we could not bring ourselves to eat his face. :/

Once it hit 12 we cracked open a special bottle of fizz that
was given to us on our wedding day.

Darth-Sven
He was in charge of the fireworks that would ring in the new year.

The very, very, very pretty Mrs Groves.
Thank you soooooo much for a great birthday! :)
