Back from Blighty!

Hello people! Did you miss me?

Well we are back from London and we had a GREAT time. Shopping, eating, drinking and best of all hanging out with family & friends. We were so busy having fun that we did not really take any pics.... sorry.

However I will make it up to you as on the next post i'll finally get up some pics of the new Tattoo Judd did for me a few weeks ago. :)

So to keep you going until then, here is a little look at some of the bits we picked up during our shopping spree in London town.

Ran out of good tea bags a few weeks ago, so i'm all stocked up for a little while.
An Englishman needs his tea!

Oh yes.... individual sized Cheese cakes will be happening some time soon.

Fee is off to Tibet soon, so we picked up a more 'manageable' and smaller lens for traveling.

My Dad brought be a brand new Guitar....Sweet!

It's just a 7 inc replica :P

She's here!

Came into work today to find a nice little pile of box's on my desk, i knew right away what it was. It took all my strength not to just scoop them up in my arms and run home with them, but I was strong and waited until I got home to open them.

This was what greeted me on my arrival to work, but what was in them you ask?

My new iPad 2, Leather cover/stand and Camera adapters.

Mmmmm fresh out of the box.

Even had it etched so people know what's what!

Yes, sync my pretty.
There is a little bit of setting up to do, but its not that bad.

Well there she is!
So far I am loving it, great little machine with bags of potential. Glad I waited for the second generation, it's lighter, thinner and has duel facing cameras. Ever the leather cover with its magnetic clasps is so well designed. LUSH!

You jealous?

I'm back baby!

Hey internet peeps!

So how have you all been since we last saw each other? Good I hope...

Fee and me got back into DK last night after a rather 'mixed' weekend in London. All in all the trip was good and even tho we were there for some rather sad circumstances we still managed to make the best of things.

The day of my Grandads funaral was a nice sunny day and we could not have asked for better weather, so he had a nice send-off. It was only close family and it was actually very nice to see them all and catch up....but that's enought of the sad news.

For obvious reasons I did not take the D90, so here are some random iPhone pics for you to feast your eyes upon.

Coconut bubble peal tea from 'HK Dinner' in China town. Fee and me always try and grab some food and our favorite drink from this place when we're in London.

Two for one cocktails....sounded like a good idea at the time.

Normally when we hit London we hit it HARD and do some serious shopping, but again that was not the point of this trip as we were spending as much time as we could with family. However we did pick up a couple of bit's when we were out and about meeting people....we just couldn't resist.

Grabbed a few DVD's and CD's that were on offer at the Airport.... just don't tell me how they all end!

This is a great comeback album....a must buy if you don't already have it!

We really needed to get a new suitcase (pictures of that when it's not full of crap!) and while we were there we got this set of scales. Handy with all these luggage restrictions on airlines today.

This mould is for making chocolate spoons.....need I say more.

Sunday was nice as we meet up with Mama for brunch and my Dad came along, once we had our yummy brunch we said our goodbyes to 'Pop' and Mama kindly drove us to the airport. It was a typical wait in the airport but the flight back was not fun....at all. I wont go into detail about it but needless to say I will never be flying with Ryanair again.

Never again shall you have a penny of my money.

I Popped into work early but I had really bad stomach cramps from a meal in London. I was not feeling great on the plane and last night was not good at all. So I decided to take some work home, which is nice because I cant normally do that as a LEGO builder.

I had to build through one of my models to make sure the building instructions are OK, and this was a BIG model so that took up most of the day.

The rest of the day was spent paying bills, doing washing, trying to tidy up a bit and sorting out dates/times for people to come over and do work at the apartment. So blogging should resume as normal from now on and I will be thrilling you with my daily activitys like crime fighting and developing mutant super powers. Peace out!

PS.

I was rocking the 'skeleton' tee today :)

Toys and Doodles....

Two post's in one day!

I'm like some sort of blogging machine. :)

Now that I'm back from Japan, I figured you might like to see a few of the toys (there were a lot) I picked up. Plus I have started some doodles/painting/drawings that are rather fun.

"Oh my, R2 help me!"
Gayest. Robot. Ever

All but the pink one I got in Japan, all boys seem to have
a soft spot for robots and I'm no different.

Again, its a robot.....but this is an old school re-issue of the one
my big brother had! Well worth the Yen.

This is a fun little game that helps kids/adults learn chopsticks. Very cute.

This is 'bo-pi' and yes, that is a pink poo on a stick.

Sad little inky!

Not sure where this is going yet...stay tuned.

Needs some final touches...not sure what just yet.

These guys were post-it note 'meeting dooles' that I'm inking up.
Only just started these.

Still needs a lot of work, again I never plan ahead so who knows how this will end up.
Its very 'Monty Python'

MEGA update!

Well, we are back from London and are trying to recover as best we can.

As mush as we like going to London, we are always running around seeing people which can take it out of you. Plus we had to pick up our WEDDING RINGS! and everybody wanted to see us before the wedding.

D-day is August 8th and there is not really much time left to get everything done. But we did manage to slip in another family get together which went well and we (by this I mean Fee) got lots of Wedding gifts....even after we had asked people to donate to Cancer Research instead of buying gifts.

But all in all it was a productive trip that involved a lot of eating and shopping....

One of the many meals we went out for, this time with Fee's Mum (center) and one of her many Aunts and Uncles.

Mmmm new toy. Now that our Sony cam is not working we needed a new little digi cam. We went for the new 12mpx Cannon Ixus in Black.

Got a an extra shirt for the wedding from my good buddy 'Fabio' at PRADA...I wish I was kidding.

Mrs Lee wanted to buy me a belt as a pre wedding gift, this is some sort of Chinese tradition. I have never got a belt that came in its own bag before.

It's a very cool looking number with a Matt-Black buckle.

Talking of bags, I got a really nice pair of shots for the Honeymoon. But you cant see them yet, you need a pic of me in them with my great pins. :)

As always, we grabbed a few books to add to the collection.

When we got home we found a marriage license waiting for us in the post. :)

We did pick up more stuff but we have had to post some of that back. So watch this space for more goodies.
