Maybe I can just drink soup for the rest of my life?

This is the latest rubber band set up for my 'grillz'.

Its meant to make my bite tighter with less gaps by pulling them closer together.....so this means they are bloody killing me!

If all goes well they will be off in four months but lets see what happens. There is still a lot to be done once the brace comes off. :(

I has a new blog...

Well its not really a blog....its more of a scrap book for cool bit I come across. I tried using 'Delicious' but I like looking at pictures and they dont do that. So I found myself cutting and pasting images and links into a folder, then I figured I may aswell put all this in one place where I can access it any point.

So if your interested go have a look, its not meant to be one of those super cool and trendy design blogs, its simply a place to put the stuff I like.........

A mighty wind blows...

Today was probably the first proper day that our home renovation plans went into action, we have a lot in store for our apartment over the coming year and today was the first step in that direction.

We finally got round to getting Brian over to install our new heading system. It's basically an air conditioner that also blows hot air. We have electric radiators that are very old an inefficient and after the winter we just had, we knew we needed a solution. So this should save us money and help our carbon foot print in the long run.

This is the wall before the work started, you cant really tell but I painted the area so we dont have to take the unit off when we paint the apartment.

One big hole in the wall and one metal bracket.

There she be!

Brian hooking it up to the wall.

Well, there it is.

There it is....again.

Its going to take a little getting use to as we have never had anything there before, but it does mean we can get rid of the old electric radiator which is a nice bonus. Blood in blood out!

Round up!

Figured I would give you all a bit of an update as I never got the chance to over the weekend, so here is a picture -fest for ya!

Me and Fee were due to meet some friends for a couple of drinks on Friday night so we decided to treat ourselves to dinner before we met the gang. We went to a place called 'Remouladen', which is a bit of an odd name because in London that would be like calling a restaurant 'Ketchup'. Anyhoo....we had never been there before so we didn't know what to expect. Turns out they do very traditional Danish food, which was OK but for the money we paid I would have hoped for a lot more. :\

If your ever in Vejle......don't go here.

At least the wife looked pretty that night. :)

On Sunday we drove up to Arhus to see Max our wedding photographer, we needed to go over some pics we wanted treating and blowing up into large prints. He had moved studio to a cool new building that use to be a garage, and apart from a new bit of paint here and there it still looks like a garage in a very cool way.

His main work room, nice and spacious.

Cool old fashioned couch in his work room.

This is the main space (work shop) which he plans to
rent out as a party/exhibition space.

Cool collection of tire stickers on the wall.

No parking!

The Mobil sponsored door to the work room.

"Skift til Michelin"

You cant have a car garage with a topless girly calender.

Also been doing some little 'meeting' doodles, really need to do something with these guys. Got a whole bunch I want to paint up.......but where do I find the time?

Little zombie doll who want's to eat your brains.

He likes the taste....and who can blame him! :)

Not sure what that is on the end of his finger, I'll leave it up to you to decide.

I was eating a cookie with my tea at the time of drawing.....I call that multi-tasking!

It's and owl, but I never got round to finishing him.
The meeting must have finished early. :P

Skillz...we has dem!

Hello boys and girls!

Just wanted to drop in and say Hi to you all before the weekend kicks in. I'll do a proper post then....i promise! But until then heres a couple of pics of interest.

As I said before, Fee has be brushing up on her Chinese cooking skills of late. The latest creations are these amazing hand made Won-tons. Fee made a big batch that we could freeze, so we have enjoyed these bad boys with soup on a couple of nights, VERY tasty!

Cant beat hand made Won-tons!

We have been sorting out the mess in the basement so we can clean up the spear room, this involved buying a stack of plastic storage bins from Ikea and packing them full of stuff. It wasn't until I filled two box's that I realised just home many computer games I had.....and there is still loads more hidden around the flat.

Pew Pew!

I'm a bit of a game geek and have some cool retro stuff tucked away, I'm guessing I must have some impressive hand to eye coordination after all that gaming.

I may not be able to read, but I'm crack shot with an MG Grand. :P

Boo! days and doodles.

Was not having a great day yesterday, basically work related stuff was getting me down and I had a little rain cloud over my head. However Fee did make a really nice 'Lemony-pudding' that cheered me up. We have been watching a lot of 'Come Dine With Me' on Youtube via Foxyproxy and Fee is now throwing down some mean food in the kitchen.

Very addictive TV indeed!

This was my 'sad day' doodle. :(

Talking of doodles, i'm trying to do at least one a day either at lunch or (most likely) in a boring meeting. Here are my efforts over the past few days....some are better than others.

Randomness at its best.

DUMPLINGS!!!!!

Last night was a night that will go down in our family history, because it was the first time Fee made 'Jiaozi' ............or dumplings as most of us know them. For her first attempt it was GREAT and I cant wait for the next batch. :)

These are not the ones she made, they are some cool
Salt & Pepper shakers from Fee's parents.

It was much more involved than the picture make out.

10 Boiled...Yum!

10 Fried...Yum Yum!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (x100)
They were really good, well done Fee!

Food, Teeth and Painful Lives.

Hello peeps, how are you all doing out there in the 'land of the Internet'?

All is well here, just slogging my guts out at work. Got a busy week coming up with work, so I'm already looking forward to the weekend and its only Monday!

Had to go get my teeth/brace adjusted the other day, its going well and if all goes to plan the brace will be off in 5 months....but lets see.

Some standard issue waiting room 'modern art'.

One day i'll be as pretty and confident as her...*sigh

This is my normal view of the waiting room. I really want to play in the toy area over in the corner but I might get some funny looks.

We had a nice weekend, went out for some birthday Margaritas and Mexican food for a friends birthday on Saturday. There was no major 'tømmermœnd' (thats hangover in Danish) to speak of, but thats no reason not to make a rustic egg's benedict now is it?

Rustic toasted cheese bread, streaky bacon, poached egg
and home made Hollandaise sauce.

Fist time I ever made Hollandaise, turned out really good but I probably burnt more calories making it than I did eating eat....and I don't count that as a good thing.

On a slightly random note, why do woman like to read book or watch films about sorrow ridden, heart breaking, painful lives?

I always joke about this with Fee, because I just don't get it. But we did have a good giggle when we saw this section in a book store in London:

Do you like reading about child abuse? Wife beating? Cheating husbands or boyfriends? Want to cry until your mascara runs down your face? Then this is the section FOR YOU!

The best part was realising that one graphic designer made all the covers for the painful lives books. Here is his/her check list:
-One slightly faded Black & White Photo...check!
-Picture has a sad looking/crying child on it...check!
-Main title is in a hand written style...check!
- Cover has a quote from a low budget women's magazine...check!

So there you have it, now you can make the cover for such great books like "Why Daddy Why?!" or "No Mum, not in the face!".
