Tarifa pt1

Hello people of the internet! How have you been? I'm sure you have missed me as much as i've missed you. We are back from our trip too Tarifa and we had a great time, we had great food, some sun and got to travel around a fair bit.

So are you ready for some photo spam? because there are lots, so here we go!

This was the first shop we saw when we arrived at the airport.... sadly it did not sell the 'goods' we assumed it would.

This was the entrance to our little apartment, the WHOLE place was covered in shells and tiles, turned out a local artist also lived at the apartments and did it all himself.

Once we got sorted we went out for a walk with Winnie (our friend who we went to visit) and got to know the town. Not sure what Winnie is demonstrating here.... walking maybe?

A part of the Church can be spotted from Winnie's roof top.

Tarifa was not a big town but it had lots of cute and small winding roads, took a day or two to find our way around without getting lost but we got there in the end.

Tarifa is the most Southern point in Europe, so you see Africa on a clear day.... and there it is!

Some cool abandoned houses by the shore line.

...

The local Church in town was very beautiful.

Fee captured a nice shot of us while we were out and about.

We had grand plans of hitting the bars and clubs that are dotted around the town (its a hot spot for wind surfers) but after a 3 hour flight, a drive down the coast, walking around town and eating good feed we were DONE. My eyes were rolling around in my head so we had to call it a night but our first day was great. :)

Stay tuned for more soon!
