Fed up with emails...

Jeez what a week!

So it turns out my Hotmail was either 'hacked' or there was some mole-ware because people were getting mails from me directing the to buy Viagra. :/

I have been jumping though hoops for a few days now trying to get it back, and at one point (after reading some forums with people who had the same issue and could not get their account back) I gave up. So I signed my self up to Gmail and started the task of updating blogs and anything else tht used that email..... it was a pain.

So what happens today? I get an email from Hotmail with a link to recover my account! Great news, but now I have two email addresses and i'm not sure what to do now. Change everything back to hotmail? or transfer it all over to Gmail? :/

I think I will have to really 'clean house' on the Hotmail and then decide what to do with the Gmail...... however on the up side I have a nice new hair cut thanks to Fee. :)

Baby-fest!

After eating and drinking far too much at Christine's on Friday night I was finding the kiddy birthday party we had to go to on Saturday hard work. Out buddy Bas has his birthday on the same day as his little girl who turned one. There were lots of kids and lots of noise.... I lasted a few hours then said my goodbyes... haha

Mixing this with a hangover is NOT recommended.... and this is only a small portion of the kids in shot!

Little Amelie was not feeling herself that day and was happy to chill with her Mummy and chew on some bread.

This kid is always a hand-full at party's.

Little Chloe was getting rather excited... I think this was due in part to the 500 M&M's she had eaten.

Christine found Adrien to be rather huggable. :P

Ciao Italy! Pt Quattro

Well you cant go to Italy and not talk about the food.... and we like our food! so much so that Fee called round a few places and managed to get us to a cooking course for the day. We were rather lucky as you need to book these things in advance. Score!

This was our menu for the day... many yum's to come!

This was our chef and teacher for the day.

As your can see he was a rather 'relaxed' chef, he never once used both hands.

Grabbed a pic of his list, I just liked the fact it was titled 'Lista'. Seems in Italy all you need to do is add and 'A' or an 'O' to the end of everything.

Here was our work station where we did our chopping, peeling and kneading of our hand made pasta.

Here's the whole gang, they were all from different parts of America so Fee & Me were the only Brits. See that lady in the center stirring the bowl with a really smug look on her face? She was banging on about how easy Italian food is to make and how much cooking she does......

She then proceeded to make some of the most 'fugly' misshapen ravioli's I have ever seen..... plus her husband made some the size of my first! We could not help but snigger a little. Making these is pretty much the same as making chinese style dumplings/won-tons, so Fee's looked very nice.

Mmmmm Garlic and Rosemary twice roasted potatoes.

We were there for about 5 hours with the gang learning tip and recipes. It was a fun day and I would recommend it to anybody into coking. So what did we make in the end? Well here are the fruits of our labour:

Panzanella: its a light and fresh salad made with tomatos, cucumber bread and read wine viniger. Great for summer or picnics.

Saffron Risotto: A classic risotto base infused with roasted saffron.

Walnut and Ricotta Ravioli: Hand made pasta filled with a mixture of walnut, cheese and roasted aubergine covered in a light butter and sage dressing. As you can see, we got some of the super ugly ones made by the smug super chef who was not so super.... thanks.

Pan Roasted Chicken: It had been stuffed with an olive paste and served with the twice roasted potatoes.

Panocotta: This was soooo good and so easy. Cream, Sugar, Vanilla, gyertine and strawberries...thats it.

There we are, feeling rather full and happy.

The Elf graduates..Pt2

After the ceremony we all had a rest and shower back at the hotel (Dad and Spencer waited for us in the pub) before we met up for dinner and drinks.

Cool little slider sign to tell the hotel owners if you were in or out....tonight we were definitely out!

The first stop was a nice Italian restaurant called 'Martinis', the food was nice (I had risotto and cheese cake....not at the same time) and we all toasted to Abi's future success.

Spencer looking a little worried here....I think the beer was taking a more than 2min to arrive! HELP!

Micheal was pleased to see the arrival of 'chili oil'...he is a big fan of spicy food.

After dinner we took our full belly's out for some fresh air and to look for a nice place to get a drink. We found a cool bar (can remember the name, sorry) and plotted up for a a drink or two...or three...or six!

At one point in the night he was talking about going to a rave or a foam party...wtf?!

The girls talking about...cocktails?...shoes?...men?..shopping?...take your pick.

Some crazy but tasty cocktails were had...yum yum!

Micheal realising he does not like Jagermeister, and after washing it down with a Red Bull he soon realised he didn't like that!

So once the bar closed we all said out goodbyes and set off back to out hotels. We had a flight to catch so we wanted a decent nights sleep before the stress of traveling home. We got back in once piece but it was a long day of trains and planes. When the hell are the going to get teleporting up and running!!!

Living it up in London

Hey hey people!

So i'm back from London and the Toy Story premiere and you'll be glad to hear that we all had an awsome time! The film was great, it was cool to finally see the film after months of seeing sketches and reference matirial to build the models.

Here are some pics, I didn't take the D90. Its a bit of a beast and I knew I would be doing a lot of walking so I took the little Cannon. So the pics are few and simple but i'm sure you will enjoy...

So we got to London early Saturday and after cheaking in we went to find some food. I took them to 'The Tottenham Pub' , it's one of the oldest in London...you dont see many like this any more.

It's like some sort of film set from a period drama set in the smog filled street of old London town.

It even has this amazing glass sky light.

After re-fuling and talking to a mad sailor who made a very bad joke about the Titanic we went for a walk around London, and as the native I was the guide. Our first stop was a coll little shop called 'Magma'. Great for design/art books and magazines, they even do some toys and Dvd's.

It's small but packs a punch!

The place is packed with coolness and the shelves go to the ceiling.

We then had a little walk towards Covent Garden and poped into 'Kid Robot' along the way which specialises in Vinyl Toys and collectables.

Even their bags a super cool.

Gitte and Lauge liked the shop, they don't see places like this in Billund.

Mega Dunny!

Fee and me a BIG 'Futurama' fans, so I picked her up a little collectable. You dont know whats in it until you open it...she got lucky and nabbed Nibbler.

Once we walked though Covent Garden we jumped into 'Forbidden Planet' which is like Nerd heaven. Comics, novels, dvd's, collectables, you name it they got it.

How do you get a man to read Jane Austin?....ADD ZOMBIES!

It was even a signed copy.. sweet.

This looked good, just started reading it....makes NO sence what so ever!

Got a great book about the art work of TS3 for the gang at work.

I love this kind of stuff, seeing how it got from concept to the final product is great.

We had been walking for a while now and we decided that we should head up to 'Hamleys' which is Londons oldest toy shop and have a look round. Once there we all had a little snoop around and then call it a day so we could all go do some personal shopping....that was after a vist to Starbucks ofcourse.

You know your in London when......

After a rest and a shower we all met for dinner, we went to the St Martins Lane Hotel which was styled by Philip Stark. They have a great cocktail bar and resturant there, I got Fee on the case back in DK to find us a good place to eat as she did not dissapoint!

In true Stark form there was lots of 'odd' things around the place. These faces we about 5 meter tall and all over the walls with defferent exspresions.

Mmmm Pre dinner Cocktails...two Mojhitos, one vhanila berry and a KGB. Lauge had the KGB and it came with a shot of 'Monkey shoulder'. We had no idea what that was.....

...untill we came across it at the airport. Turns out its a Whisky.

The meal was amazing, the restarunt is called Asia de cuba. It's a fusion or oriental cooking and eating with a cuban twist...super tasty! Sorry not pics of the food*
We were all stuffed after the meal, Gitte and Lauge went back to the hotel, Laurence went to meet his sister but me and Mike stayed out for a couple of drinks.....well when the company is paying it would be rude not to right!?

So the big day arrived and we all headed off to the Empire cinema.... :D

There was a huge crowed and it took us a while to get though to the entrance....dont they know i'm a VIP!!

This was awsome, the didn't have a read carpet...they had a LEGO carpet!

It was hard to get a pic without peoples feet blocking the shot, sorry. We were being hurded along by security at thei point.

Heres Woody, sorry for the blur but he was rather 'animated'....kind of looks like he is raving...or having a fit.

This was (along with Buzz, Jessie and the Alien) a give away in our goodie bags...Gitte was the one who sculpted the heads so she was very happy.
