Toys and Doodles....

Two post's in one day!

I'm like some sort of blogging machine. :)

Now that I'm back from Japan, I figured you might like to see a few of the toys (there were a lot) I picked up. Plus I have started some doodles/painting/drawings that are rather fun.

"Oh my, R2 help me!"
Gayest. Robot. Ever

All but the pink one I got in Japan, all boys seem to have
a soft spot for robots and I'm no different.

Again, its a robot.....but this is an old school re-issue of the one
my big brother had! Well worth the Yen.

This is a fun little game that helps kids/adults learn chopsticks. Very cute.

This is 'bo-pi' and yes, that is a pink poo on a stick.

Sad little inky!

Not sure where this is going yet...stay tuned.

Needs some final touches...not sure what just yet.

These guys were post-it note 'meeting dooles' that I'm inking up.
Only just started these.

Still needs a lot of work, again I never plan ahead so who knows how this will end up.
Its very 'Monty Python'

Mega Wedding/Honeymoon picture update Pt3

Ok, so here is last picture update for the wedding and honeymoon....I promise!

For some reason a few of the pics look a bit grainy but are Ok once you click on it, i'm guessing thats because some are pretty high res and are effect when compressed.

Anyway....

Cheesy but a must on your Honeymoon....I think there is some kind of law.

Enjoying the shores or Phuket. We were at Surin beach which
was amazing and very quite.

As well as hitting the beach and drinking cocktails we did lots of
stuff like boat trips, an ATV tour where we saw elephants and even went shooting.

Pew Pew!

Thats my Wife....Don't piss her off!

Most nights were spent eating great food and
sipping cocktails at the beach bar.

The very nice hotel pool, we had a little lagoon pool that went
from our back door and connected with the main pool....very cool.

Fee trying to run off....again.

Not a wedding post!

Not feeling to great today, not sure what the deal is but I woke up feeling really 'green'. The idea of getting on the bus to Billund does not tempt me! So here is an update of thing besides the wedding and honeymoon posts.

Over the past week or so me and Fee have been addicted to DEXTER on DVD....its sooooo good. We always saw bits of it on TV but it's the kind of show you need to see from the start to really understand what's going on and who's who. We watched the whole first season last week and are now well into the second...addictive!

Awwww...how cute.

In other news, we finaly got our hands on a Kitchenaid mixer and those Vipp bins we wanted. Been needing new bins for a long time now so we got one of off-white and one in the limited "US Taxi cab Yellow" and as for the mixer....well, we just REALLY wanted one. Pricey I know, but it's well worth it. We did loads of baking with it over the weekend and plan to do a lot more, I made two Cheese cakes which I have never done before (I promised I would make one for Fee's birthday), Fee got involved and made some crisp bread and a load of meringues. I even had a go at making Strawberry Ice cream. Turned out pretty well considering it was all done by hand.

It has been a good few days....Mmmmmmmmmm

Note: That is the same mixer we now have but I did not cook the cheesecake in the pic, I forgot to take a photo of them but this one looks just like the ones I made. :)

Mega Wedding/Honeymoon picture update Pt2

Big apologies for dragging my hells on these updates, but life has been a little busy with work and my Wife's birthday......happy birthday babe!

So here is the second picture update, all of these are from our first stop in Japan. We mainly stayed in Tokyo but we also popped up to Kyoto for a couple of days. There are almost 2000 photos to choose from, so this is just a taste of the tasty treats for you to taste...enjoy!

Alllllright, the Groves's have arrived!

Mrs Groves very excited about all the food on offer in Japan.

Our home from home while in Tokyo. Happy to report that the Tokyo metro was not the scary, mind bending adventure people said it would be.

EVERY restaurant has somthing like this in the window, its a real art!

We liked the 'Tim Burton style' cone the most.

Japan IS the home of the vending machine.

Newlyweds painting the town red.

My robot buddy keeping watch at the Ghibli museum.

"Happy, Happy, Bang, Bang, fun time!"

Japan is cute and very scary all at the same time.

Cute kitty at a temple in Kyoto.

BIG lantern!

Not sure what he's selling, but i'd buy it!

Yes, those are very large gates.

Fee pondering life, love....and what to eat for lunch.

"Which way now?"

Now thats a classy look.....Japan rocks! :)

"What Brown Bears? We've not seen any...honest."

Cooking up a storm...on the table no less.

Our man in Japan, Mr Elliot T. Big thanks for showing us the
sites and sounds of Tokyo.

More from Japan next time folks!

Mega Wedding/Honeymoon picture update Pt1

Ok, as promised here is the first part of the Wedding and Honeymoon updates. Due to the crazy amount of pictures I will need to break this up into a few blog posts.

We got the Hight Rez photos from Max our wedding photographer that we need to go though and get printed. But sadly, the low rez versions I am using look a little "washed out" for some reason???

But lets not dwell on that.

So....HERE WE GO!!!

The (then) Future Mrs Groves with her Mum.

Also seen here with the lesser spotted smiling Mr Lee.

Fee had a Tea ceremony with her Mum & Dad before they left for the church.

I present to you Mr & Mrs Groves....Yay!

Us saying a quick thank you to Mary the priest. She was very kind and even did a lot of the ceremony in English so our families would know what is going on. Tak Mary!

Awwwww....i'm very lucky.

Making a run for it!

The Tat and the Teeth.

"What have I done!"

Having a walk and taking it all in.

The whole gang.

The Groves and Lee family come together.

Fee and her (like a) sister, Winnie.

Me and my big brother Spencer...we never take stuff seriously.

Mr & Mrs Groves with our UK and DK buddies.

Flowers...you cant have a wedding without flowers.

Mmmmmm wedding cupcakes.

A biiiig thanks goes out to Tara and Matthew
for making almost 100 cupcakes.

The menu...we had some goood nom!

We had a spot of rain before dinner stared, but the guys pitched
in and kept everybody dry on the way to the tent.

Mmmmmm Happy juice.

I needed a few glasses before my speech.

Cant really remember what I said but
every body seemed to like it.

Mamma made a very nice and moving speech.

My brother and best-man in mid-flow....Fee's face says it all.

Me thanking him....for some reason.

You can tell by my face that the picture
Spencer is showing Fee is NOT GOOD.

There was lots of this... :)

Mrs Groves!

Double happiness.
