Skagen Pt1

So for the long weekend me and Fee popped up North (way North) to Skagen, a nice little part of Denmark with lots of sea and sand. We had a great time and there are LOADS of pictures, but i'll just show you some choice pics. We woke up a little late for the drive up there but we still had time to have a nice little walk before dinner.

Cute little bridge behind the Hotel.

You cant stop me sign!

Fee in the wilderness, at one with nature....on her iPhone.

We had a nice walk and a great meal that night at a place called 'Ruths Hotel', very nice indeed! The next day we drove further into Skagen and went to 'Grenen' which is basically the very tip of Denmark.

"The sea side adventures of Cat girl!"

A map showing the way to 'Grenen'

On our way to 'The Tip'.

I'm guessing these pickled onions are none to fresh.

Thats actually a WWII bunker in the water not a rock.

Wind-swept stones.

So after a nice walk on the beach we went into town and had a look in the art museum, there was some really nice stuff but we walked out after 10min. Every room we went in we were told to do something different...hold your bag...wear your bag...put the camera round your neck...hold your camera...arggggg!

Forgot to get these guys names.

Anybody hungry?

We were recommended to go see the 'Dunes' by a local girl who works with Fee, so we drove up....and all I can say is Wow! It was like stepping into a film set or some alien planet from the film Dune.

...

This is Denmark.....apparently.

Fee of Arabia.

Making peace with the Spice Worms.

Two generations of spice hunters.

The boarder between the Dunes and the Green part of Denmark.

Why?.... because of the Spice worms, that why!
