My little project....

Fee has been in Copenhagen this week doing photo shoots for Hummel, so I have been on my own. To insure I didn't sit around surfing the net all night and growing fungus I gave myself a little project.

Mrs Groves got me super cool gift for our wedding anniversary, an origanal paining (not a print!) from Judd Ripley and I finally got round to framing it. We found a nice frame at a second-hand shop (a barn to be more precise) that suited the print. The frame was old (from 1944) so it needed cleaning up and preping for the painting, that was what I was doing during my evernings at home.

There it is! This pic does not do Judd's painting justice, the colours are amazing. I'll get some nice pics tomorrow once the light is better.

Saturday doodles...

Fee had to work on Saturday as she is SUPER busy at the moment. So being to super nice husband I am I went with her so I could help out and be the 'printer elf'. I did have good intentions of doing some Danish homework or reading a book........ but instead I just sat there and doodled on post-it-notes. :P

Had a rather large collection by the end of our time there.

Fee is off seeing Lady GaGa tonight with her friends, so I'm on my own. don't feel too sorry for me, coming from a large family and a constantly busy house I'm very comfortable in my own company.

There is a fine line between genius and bat-shit crazy.... I'm happy with either.

Ladies, look away now if you are on a diet.

For the past couple of days Fee and me have been cooking up one hell of a storm in the kitchen. Its been a lot of fun but this also means we will have to hit the gym a little harder this week. For a full update on my wife's cooking extravaganza go see her blog for lots of yummy goodness! :)

So what have I been up to while my wife has been slaving in the kitchen you ask? Working on becoming the Cheesecake king of Vejle that's what! I think i'm getting it down to a fine art now and they taste pretty good even if I do say so myself. I made 3 whole cheesecakes this weekend...... i'm guessing i'll have diabettes by the end of next week.

This is one of the few that I made, it's a Choc chip cookie base with Vanilla filling and a creamy chocolate topping.

I made that one to take over to a friend who has had some bad luck with his car over the last few months. I know he likes Cheesecake so this was to cheer him up a bit, we popped over to see them and have some coffee...this was also a good excuse to hang out with one of our favorite Vejle babies.

As well as our Cheese Cake, they had made a tasty Apple Struddle!

"Wat you mean I can haz no more cake...?!"

So we ate a lot of cake, had some coffee and chatted for a while until it was time to head home for dinner........ and more cake making!

So this is number two, pretty much the same as the last but without the Chocolate topping. Plus this one is about double the size.

Fee likes the fruit and jelly topping to her cakes so I decided to give that another try.

It tasted super yum, but the jelly topping was a little heavy...but still yum.

I is in a book!

While out shopping yesterday I saw this book in one of the shops. It one of the 'Brickmaster' books where you get a little story and some bricks to build some small models. I worked on this ages ago and totally forget about it.






There's my name, listed as Design manager.... Sounds fancy but it's not really.

Action!

Today has been a nice relaxing Saturday, did a bit of shopping this morning and then sad down to start editing some video. We took our camcorder to Japan/Thailand last year and I have just never got round to putting the footage together....well today I made a start!

Its not going to be a long vid, maybe 10min but its about time I did it.

This is what I have been looking at most of the day.

In other news, I baked 3 cheese cakes today! that's right, 3!! One is for us, one is for our German friends who have had some bad luck with their car for the past few months and one is for...... well do you need an excuse to have more than one cheese cake? :P

I'll post some pics once the are all set and ready....yum yum!

BIIIIG Harry Potter LEGO.

So the news is out!

In January you can get your hands on this bad boy, its my Harry Potter set of Diagon Alley.

There she is in all her glory.

I was even asked to do a video about the 'making of' the set. The vid is ok but I HATE the sound of my own voice. Plus I had only just had my brace put in so I am really trying to speak clearly which results in me sounding like Prince Harry. :/

Sorry its been a while gang, work has been rather demanding over the past couple of weeks and I have not had much time on my hands.... but things are getting a little under control now so w should be back to normal.

Plus you cant be mad at me, this is my 200th post! That makes it my birthday, so have some cake and stay cool. :)
